The Dumping Project
Wanted Dumps List

Last Updated: 15th February, 2022.
This is the *only* OFFICIAL and ORIGINAL Dumping Project List.
If you want to help find and dump new items for MAME, please check over the following list of items.
Note! This list is not exhaustive, nor 100% accurate. This is simply a listing of games that are not dumped.
There is no 'most wanted' list anymore, it is ALL wanted. You may find 'other' amateur wanted lists on the net, however none of those people are at the cutting edge of dumping technology, nor do they work in the arcade industry as I do, so none of those lists are accurate nor official.

Some PCB Shops are listed here if you want to try to track down some of the wanted items.

However, NOTE! It doesn't help to merely locate a game (especially a new one that we probably already
know is for sale somewhere). In many cases locating is not an issue. Getting enough money to buy them
is the main issue and emulating it now is another issue. Maybe in 5 years or so we'll start to buy new
games (>2000) regularly as prices drop. Alternatively, you are free to buy it and send it to me at any time.

The information on this page would not have been available without the knowledge of others.
Thanks goes to everyone who helped. BIG thanks to Randy 'Mr. Goodwraith' Hoffman for starting all of this and
Ranger Lennier for assistance with finding undumped games to add to this list.

If you are looking for a MESS/console wanted list, there is one at http://mess.toseciso.org/dumping:info
Although remember, anything not in MESS is wanted. I don't limit myself to dumping ROMs for MAME. I will dump anything, including console ROMs, cartridges or anything else that might need to be preserved, including ROMs in old computers and any type of add-in card or whatever.

This list took many many months to create. You may print it out or keep a local copy for your personal use.
You MUST NOT copy this and re-distribute it online or wiki it without my permission.
This list changes sometimes many times daily, so keeping a copy online is pointless anyway....

The method to back-up Laser Discs has been finalised by Aaron Giles so this is an accurate list of LD's that are needed. It's probably best to discuss this with Aaron if you have something wanted because backing these up the right way is not trivial.
